God gracefully and mercifully restored the Stroudes’ marriage after a four year divorce. They are living memorials of the Father’s Heart of love and grace. They believe that if God can rekindle love in their hearts for each other, after a bitter divorce, all troubled marriages have hope in Him.
The Stroudes believe in being transparent as leaders. In conferences gatherings, they strategically share on pitfalls that are designed to annihilate marriages. In like manner, they boldly state that, “We've been through World War I, World II, the Vietnam Conflict and now we are in the Reserves”. The Stroudes believe that this transparent statement will set an atmosphere for openness, healing and restoration by the Holy Spirit.
Their encouraging statement to couples is, “Transition before Transformation”. One must first acknowledge that they need to change before God can commence the Transformation. While both words imply change, Transition is external and is your decision; Transformation is internal and is Jesus’ mission.
The Stroudes have been re-married for over twenty-two years enjoying love and appreciating the utopia of a marriage likened to Christ and the Church.
